Puppy Play and Heartache

I read Naughty Boy before I read this first, companion piece, The Good Boy. I took a chance on this longer story since I loved the way the authors portrayed Ferg and Brin's relationship (DD) and the friendship between Brin and Lane. I was NOT disappointed in the least with this book! I loved the puppy play and snuggling that happens for a good chunk of the book. The sex between the couple is intense but slow-to-build, as it should be in a hurt/comfort tale. I absolutely loved the real dogs at the shelter Lane helps out with as well. The main, strong discipline scene is realistic and helps make readers understand the need for some subs to be almost forced to admit their feelings. And I loved the HEA! I recommend this book to anyone interested in relationships with a large age gap, puppy play, DD, or BDSM.

Another great historical from Ava March!

I love historical M/M novels, and this one is one of my favorites! I loved how Jasper is not just the typical rent-boy as well. He is smart and knows that Nathaniel is the one who has to be strong enough to admit what he really wants. And, just like other Ava March books, the sex is hot and kinky!

Heartwarming Sci-Fi Love!

I absolutely loved this book! The world building is phenomenal and the characters of the lost king and his friend/lover/protector are fully developed. The sadness of war is always close-at-hand, but the two lovers really stick by each other. I am definitely going to read the sequel!

Review of J.A. Rock's By His Rules

This is about the third time I have read this book! It is one of my favorites now. I really enjoyed the way the emotional change comes across in this book, even with the abusive "Dom", Scott, near the end. Even Scott realizes that what he is doing and who he is trying to be isn't truly safe or protective of someone else in his care. (I really hoped he would find someone to help him on his journey as well.) I absolutely loved the way the domestic discipline worked for Keaton and Aiden, and that by the end of the book Aiden was able to bring additional pleasure to Keaton through BDSM play that they otherwise hadn't been trying--while still keeping the two mindsets separate. I would recommend this book to someone who is interested in knowing more about domestic discipline since both it and the BDSM world were intertwined in the plot.
