I really wanted to give this book a higher rating. I enjoyed the first book in the series (Alrik), and it had an ending that just introduced other characters. I was looking forward to Seger's story, but book dragged where there should have been some progression, and then just ended...I mean really, just ended where I assume her next book will start. But there was absolutely no conclusion to Seger and Shadow's tale. I really can't stand that! And I don't think I'll be continuing with the series, and that really says it all for me!
